"Yes, the metal ramp flaps do stick up a tiny bit and the ball rolls over them without any issue at all. When the ball is unable to make it over the flap and up the ramp smoothly we'll look into having them replaced. As they're made of spring steel, bending them back is at best a temporary fix, with the number of plays they get at the location, they will pop right up again within a few days at most." Spider-Man (Vault Edition) (Stern, 2016)
"- Flippers very shallow
- Flipper angle makes broadside shot extremely difficult
- Upper flipper often nonfunctional
- Broadside VUK sometimes lacks enough power to kick ball, scoring multiple broadside shots, or at times making game unplayable
- In summary, enough aspects of this game are often broken or poorly adjusted to compromise some of the core features of the game. Would be fun to play after some TLC.
-Set to 5 ball - bring quarters for cheaper play or pay $1 per credit via card reader / tap-to-pay" Black Rose (Bally, 1992)
"The 3 silver plates are still NOT flushed with the playfield. There are gaps in between. 2nd comment about this issue." Spider-Man (Vault Edition) (Stern, 2016)
"Down today. Machine left on, with a small newspaper on the PF as an "Out of Order" sign. Could have put one on the outside to prevent quarter drop." Weird Al's Museum of Natural Hilarity (LE) (Multimorphic, 2022)
"Right flipper intermittently sticking during game until it just stuck. Broken coil stop sitting on top of the machine. Staff said operator had been present this morning and they would notify them. Broken coil stop left with staff." Tales from the Crypt (Data East, 1993)
"Error code today. Eating quarters. Incandescent lights. Notified staff. They said operator had stopped by this morning and would notify them." Phantom of the Opera (Data East, 1990)
"Code is updated, I’ll check the skill shot, may be turned off. The venue is aware of the glass cleaning issue." Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast (Pro) (Stern, 2018)
