"Great theme. Terrible game. I don't know why its lingered here for so long. Also, it will literally steal your coins: if you add money to the machine while its wrapping up a previous game (i.e. doing the "match animation") the coins DON'T REGISTER AT ALL. I don't know if that's something wrong with this particular machine, or a software bug that was corrected in a later firmware, but between that and the fact that the game just sucks anyway, means you should avoid it."

"This machine has been at Barcade since Barcade first got pinball machines in 2017. I don't know why they've left it here for 8 years, but there it is. Its Adams Family. They made thousands of them. Its in good shape and there's usually nothing wrong with it, but... 8 years? Seriously? Replace it with something manufactured in the current century."

"About the only good thing you can say about this machine is that its a pinball machine. But if we're honest about it, we would say that this is the kind of pinball machine you buy when you desperately want **a** pinball machine but you can't afford a machine worth having. Its a basic, bare bones, old Williams machine that wasn't very good when it was new, and isn't even worth playing in 2025."

"There's always SOMETHING wrong with it, but that's not Barcade's fault, that's just the reality of Jersey Jack machines. Sometimes its the Road Trip locks not registering. Sometimes its the Gabby Gabby bash toy not registering hits. Today, it was that the right flipper is weak and clearly needs to be rebuilt."

"Machine is set unreasonably steep.
Look on Insider Connected: Most Rush machines have Grand Champions in the 1 billion range. Here, its 300 million. The spirit level on the right has the bubble hard against the top of the glass. A full or even half plunge will frequently send the ball around the orbit and straight down the drain with no chance to stop it, followed up by an auto plunge that also sends the ball straight down the drain. In addition to that, the ridiculous steepness makes the game play MUCH, MUCH faster than it was clearly designed to. I frequently discourage people from playing it because if you don't know pinball, its just stealing your quarters.
One manager I spoke to said that that is how the "game tech," who apparently is based out of New jersey and only comes to New Haven once every year or two, set it up and he's not allowed to change it."
